Urban DRR - From Risk to Resilience in Kathmandu Valley

This project aims to produce demonstrable and replicable results and learning to support transition from risk to resilience in two rapidly urbanizing areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur. The project seeks three outcomes: 1. To enhance institutional capacity of urban government, civil society and residents on DRR. 2. To pilot and replicate business models creating opportunity for DRR and resilience building in urban living, built environment and services. 3. To document and share learning in the project and good practices on urban DRR systematically to produce impact at scale. The project is implemented by the Institute of Social and Environmental Transition- (ISET)-Nepal.
