Challenging Islamophobia, Homophobia, and Transphobia on the African Continent

The grant was specifically requested to support the development of information, communication and training materials that will assist queer Muslims in their psychological and physical safety. The grant will make it possible to maintain much needed and ongoing safe spaces and creating new safe spaces in places where it is needed. The fund will also support the Safe Spaces and Africa Forum during the Annual Islamic Retreat in March 2018 in Cape Town.
