El Nino Relief & Recovery School Feeding Initiative Madagascar
Madagascar was already one of the poorest countries in the world with 93% of the population living on less than two dollars a day. This lead to food security issues which have only become more difficult with the El Nino weather that resulted in severe drought. This project will be focusing on providing meals at schools which will not only help with students ability to learn but also aims to increase attendance at the target schools.
This project aims to provide meals to 20,800 students to enable better learning outcomes at school as well as increasing enrollment and attendance.
