Community Engagement for Sustainable Livelihoods and Financial Inclusion of the Ultrapoor

This three-year Community Engagement for Sustainable Livelihoods and Financial Inclusion of the Ultra Poor project extends Trickle Up’s partnership with the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) to the tribal populations in the districts of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh. The objective of this broader partnership is to promote and provide evidence-backed livelihood and financial services to those living in ultra poverty at scale and increase their social, economic and financial inclusion through the programs of JSLPS under the provision of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). Through this project, Trickle Up along with implementing partner, Life Education and Development Support (LEADS), will empower 1,000 ultra poor women and their households to build sustainable livelihoods and overcome extreme poverty using the Graduation Approach. It will also ensure the financial inclusion of all 1,000 ultra poor women and 3,000 additional women living in conditions of extreme poverty.
