Enhance productive cap through direct distrib and Input Trade Fairs

The purposes for which the funds provided by FAO under this Amendment shall be to improve knowledge and skills development for improved resilience to climate extremes targeting 3815 households in Aweil East. It aims to (i) Deliver extension services with focus on Integrated Pest and Production Management, Climate Smart Agriculture and Conservation Agriculture through training and visits to 3815 beneficiaries in Aweil East and (ii) Through five specialized technology demonstrations sites, support agricultural skills and technology transfer reaching at least 1500 HH (iii) Facilitate farmer to farmer exchange visits for learning purposes (iv) Introduce at least one crop type or variety to the target population (v) Conduct training in cross cutting issues like gender, nutrition, agri-business, and post-harvest handling (vi) Conduct post planting and post-harvest monitoring (vii) Participate in FAO/WFP/DFID monitoring missions (viii) Prepare monthly reports (ix) Document lessons learned
