Trauma Recovery and Child Empowerment

This project will provide child-friendly spaces for children traumatized by the April 2015 earthquake in Central Nepal. World Concern aims to increase the capacity of partner organizations and communities to carry out child protection and advocate for child rights. Children’s Clubs and child friendly spaces will be established and children’s curriculum developed with communities to enable the healing process through art, music, drama, sports, educational board games, and age-appropriate play. The training will also raise awareness about the dangers of physical, emotional, sexual, and drug abuse and exploitation, including human trafficking and child labor.
