Protect and Build resilience of women, youth and children in Mosul
This intervention directly addresses drivers of social tension by providing all population groups (IDPs, returnees and host communities) the opportunity to access protection and sustainable livelihoods through life skills training and protection support. ‘Ana-Fi-Aman’ which translates to ‘I am safe’ in Arabic is the central theme which revolves around all beneficiaries which will be targeted in this project. The aim of this initiative is to build the ability of children, youths and women to assess, protect and arm themselves with information and knowledge through life skills training, social activities, creative arts and recreation. The project will also strengthen the community child protection structure to prevent and respond to child protection risks.
