National Nutrition Communications Campaign (NNCC) Project

IMA’s first project in Indonesia is the National Nutrition Communications Campaign (NNCC) project, a three-year $4.1 million project that is a component of the larger Community-Based Health and Nutrition to Reduce Stunting Project, funded by the Millennium Challenge Account in Indonesia and working in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia. Development and implementation of the NNCC will be executed over five phases: Formative research Campaign design development M&E Framework development Campaign implementation Packaging and dissemination of lessons learned. Project Objectives The communications campaign is based on the following objectives: Increase awareness and understanding of the causes, symptoms, long-term implications, and prevention of stunting among parents, community members, Ministry of Health personnel, government officials, and the general public Gain commitment from a broad array of stakeholders in the public and private sectors to tackle the problem of stunting Foster individual and community behavior change related to health and nutrition among parents, other community care givers, and MoH personnel who deliver community health/nutrition services.
