RISE-UP Phase II: Building Resilience of Farming Families

The RISE-UP Phase II project will strengthen the disaster preparedness and risk reduction capacities of up to 7,200 at-risk, smallholder farming families across Guatemala and the Philippines by providing essential training and resources that sustain their livelihoods and increase their resiliency. Additionally, the project will reinforce institutional capacities of local partners and other stakeholders to ensure that not only will these families and their communities have continued safety and sustainable development after the project ends, but also that DRR and resiliency measures are built into future program design.
