Challenge TB [Afghanistan]
Management Sciences for Health is a major partner in the Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance, an international team led by the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation. The USAID-funded project, Challenge TB, is a five-year cooperative agreement with a value of up to $550 million. The program will advance an integrated approach to HIV/AIDS and TB control, involving local communities and halting the spread of drug-resistant forms of TB. Challenge TB will focus on high TB-burden countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Challenge TB will be the fourth global USAID TB control program implemented by the Coalition, a team of nine partners that includes MSH.
